Chief Michelle Moriarty to replace recently retired Chief Ken Lloyd

The Rotary Club is sponsoring a virtual “Town Hall” via Zoom on Thursday, October 1 from noon – 1 pm, and Jeff Kelley will be hosting it as the moderator. What is a mill levy, why are there so many, which should I vote for, and how much will the mill levy cost? The meeting is sponsored by the Peak to Peak Rotary Club, and will have a presenter from each of the four groups requesting your vote for a mill levy tax increase on November 3 election day – Sheriff’s Office, Gilpin Library, Community Center, and Gilpin School. For Gilpin County Commissioner
PRESS RELEASE – Gilpin County needs to stay the course with the proven leadership Ron Engels has provided in his first term, especially since the pandemic began. Protect Our Neighbor status – observing all state and local health orders
