A November 5th work session was scheduled at the end of the regular Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) meeting with Gilpin County Commissioners Linda Isenhart, Ron Engels, and Gail Watson. The topic was about the NextGEN Project that would increase air traffic over Gilpin County, and Commissioners planned to verbally update the public with actions planned and/or implemented, with consideration of residents opinions to determine the best approach for Gilpin County Commissioners to act. The Eagles final game of the football season was played last Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in Kremmling, Colorado against the West Grand High School Mustangs. The field was clear, but surrounded by piles of snow that had been removed from the field to let the sun complete the job. Fatality structure fire in Pinecliffe
October 30th
PRESS RELEASE – At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, the Gilpin County Dispatch Center received a call from a resident of Pinecliffe, Colorado stating that their neighbor’s house was on fire. Timberline Fire Department was immediately dispatched and upon arrival at 120 Woodbine Drive in Pinecliffe, found the house fully engulfed in flames. (more…)
