PRESS RELEASE – Gilpin students competed in the Colorado High School Regional Science Bowl on Saturday, March 16 at Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton.
The Bowl, funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, is a highly competitive science event among teams of high school students who compete in a fast-paced verbal forum to solve technical problems and answer questions in all branches of science and math. (more…)

The Gilpin County Education Foundation (GCEF) held its largest scholarship fundraising dinner ever last Saturday evening, March 16, at the Ameristar Resort and Casino. 103 people attended and raised $15,000 for student scholarships. School-associated store affords employment opportunities

Gilpin County High School students are getting out of the classroom and into the c-store as they work at EaglesMart, the enterprise begun in 2016 that provides real business experience for school credit.
