PRESS RELEASE – A Gilpin County jury found a 55-year-old Rollinsville woman guilty in the stabbing of her ex-boyfriend, James Bynum, DOB: 8-22-53, at their home in January, 2017.
According to testimony during the three-day jury trial, Michelle ReNae Bialas, DOB: 5-23-62, went to the house at 305 Genevas Way in mid-Gilpin County, on January 17. She knocked at the door and when Mr. Bynum opened it, she pushed in and attacked him. She used some type of blade and slashed the back of his head before he was able to get away from her and call police. The injury required 17 staples. (more…)
