December 14, 1960 – January 26, 2020
Julie Marrie Seitzinger (59) passed away on January 26, 2020 in Denver, CO surrounded by her family; she was a caring mother, a loving wife, and a wonderful friend. Julie was born December 14, 1960 in Salt Lake City, UT to Robert Eugene Wyatt and Lou-Jeanie Marsell. She was a happy child and spent much of her time roaming the early fields of Salt Lake City with her friends. (more…)

Named one of Colorado’s Most Endangered Places 2020

On Thursday, January 31st, Colorado Preservation, Inc. announced the selection of Colorado’s Most Endangered Places for 2020. The East Portal Camp cabins in Gilpin County west of Rollinsville on Tolland Road were selected as one of four winners to receive this important designation. Roger Doak is an award winning photographer born in upstate New York who moved to Colorado as a young boy. Living in the scenic beauty of the Gunnison area he developed a profound appreciation of nature. Roger’s enjoyment of nature proved to be the impetus of his passion for photography. In 2005, he received two first place finishes in a photo competition as judged by esteemed photographer, John Fielder.
