Oktoberfest is a Bavarian tradition that began in Munich, Germany, in the year 1810 with the marriage of future King Ludwig I and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. Boulder Oktoberfest at City Park on Broadway and Canyon, Friday, September 21st, and Saturday, September 22nd, was another of many most recent. Jeffrey Maynard pleads guilty in Gilpin County homicide
District Attorney’s OfficeJeffrey Mason Maynard, DOB: 11-10-91, appeared on September 26 in the Gilpin County District Court and pled guilty in the death of 63-year-old John Cumby. Mr. Cumby’s body was found in a remote campground in Gilpin County in September, 2017. Maynard pled guilty to Second Degree Murder (F2); two counts of Identity Theft (F4); and one count of Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft (F4). (more…)
