Part of Clear Creek team

Gilpin County School students joined with Clear Creek in cross country track events this school year. Grace Diekman, Johnny Lovett, and Tatum Lepro all ran this year as part of Clear Creek’s team, since Gilpin does not have a team of its own.
Diekman ran in the state championship cross country track meet on October 26 in Colorado Springs. The girls’ team qualified, coming in fourth in the regional cross country track meet in October. The Clear Creek team was first in their league.
